Lucknow– In a swift action, Inspector Ashok Kumar Sonkar arrested two accused in connection with the recent Aliganj firing incident. The accused, identified as Vivek Tiwari alias Honey Tiwari and Rajat Chaudhary, had allegedly opened fire with the intent to kill.
Both were taken into custody and sent behind bars following the operation. Police recovered a .32 bore illegal pistol, one magazine, and two empty cartridges from their possession.
Authorities confirmed that further investigations are underway to determine the background of the weapons and whether the accused are linked to other criminal activities. The arrests mark a significant step in cracking down on rising gun-related crimes in the city.
